Daniel Daughtry-Weiss


Daniel plays with period instrument groups, professional string ensembles, and orchestras in the Washington, DC area. He has appeared locally with the Bach Sinfonia and Washington Bach Consort and plays current seasons with the Prince George’s Philharmonic and National String Sinfonia. Daniel earned the Master of Music degree in historical performance/baroque cello from Oberlin Conservatory. Daniel has honed his baroque cello skills under Catharina Meints (Oberlin,  formerly of the Cleveland Orchestra), Phoebe Carrai (Longy School of Music, formerly of Musica Antiqua Koln).
